Billy Graham Discusses Desegregation On 'Meet The Press'


Reverend Billy Graham joined “Meet the Press” on June 9, 1957 to discuss evangelicalism and the future of the religious movement. Graham said on the broadcast that “hardly any night goes by” without preaching desegregation in the South. Graham hosted annual “crusades” in New York City and was close to Presidents Eisenhower, Johnson and Nixon.
